I encourage you to check out this compelling weight-loss blog.
You have got to respect her attitude, her honesty, and her commitment. With a specific goal, a positive, proactive attitude, tracking tools (like, say, a blog!) and access to health professonals, she is doing everything right to lay the groundwork for lifelong success.
And she’s not shy about blogging about it when success doesn’t happen, either.
Just how much is good health worth to me? Actually, I do not have a number, but like the mastercard commercials, I believe it is priceless. Every day it seems harder and harder for me to get around. Not because I am gaining mass quantities daily, but because my joints, bones and whatever else gets me moving are hurting and stopping me from being all that I can be.
I’m not going to settle to live like this. I do NOT want to “get used” to it.
Look around that blog, and note in particular the way she uses it as a log, so that there’s no ambiguity about the changes or lack of changes. Honesty is essential to any important endeavor, and maintaining health is literally critical. An attitude (and a blog) like this will help you with that.
