Comcast is not bound by a “don’t be evil” pledge.

Internet Service Providers. Can’t live with ’em, can’t set them all on fire without causing greenhouse gas emissions. I think this little video I found over on Facebook explains the problem pretty well. If you’re tempted to get smug because we live in Canada and they live behind the Red, White and Blue curtain, remember that we’ve had to fight for Net Neutrality too, and with the government’s recent unilateral decision on pipelines of a physical nature, it’s reasonable to expect the same kind of high-handedness when it comes to our internet freedoms.
