SUMMARY
The LR Content & Community Manager is our official liaison to our online communities. This role is responsible for being our primary contact between London Relocation and any parties who interact with us on our social and digital channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Management & Development – 30%
Monitor, coach and champion online conversation around the brand within social networks, review sites and blogs to ensure:
– Company is legally protected
– Conversation and community remain positive and authentic
– Comments, issues and potential PR problems are identified and addressed quickly
– Company and outside social commentary is legal, correct and truthful
Track & manage inbound requests Gather and manage email database marketing purposes
Work with the management team to create our brand voice and online engagement guidelines
Create and maintain a content calendar
Engage with others on non-company-owned media like expat blogs
Escalate any community issues to management as appropriate
Content Development – 50%
Create written content for proactive social postings on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Create written content for the company blog and to supplement photo and video content
Sample topics: relocation, expatriate communities, local tourism, food, culture
Create and/or curate photographic content for posting on company’s Pinterest and Instagram pages and blogs
Administration – 20%Utilize social listening tools, alerts and insights pages to gather insights and report to management on the success of your effortsIdentify relevant SEO keywords and adjust content as necessary
Vet content with copyright owners and key stakeholders as appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
You have an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Media or Business
You have 2-3 years of experience working as a social community or content manager for a corporation or business
You have a writing background or proof of authorship of articles, blog posts, or reviews
You currently actively participate in a wide variety of social media activities, such as blogging, photoblogging, community development, comment management, etc.
You understand the ins and outs, dos and don’ts of popular social networks – how they work, advanced features, SEO aspects, etc.
You have a demonstrable ability to produce interesting content that generates likes, shares, links and comments
You have a demonstrable ability to effectively grow, nurture and manage online communities without triggering PR or social crises
You’ve got great interpersonal skills – you like working as part of a winning team and are easy to get on with
Nothing slips by you – you possess a very high attention to detail
You don’t mind spending a considerable amount of time online or out in the community capturing and creating content
You have a responsive, people-focused personality
Your verbal and written skills are excellent
Preferred Candidates will possess the following skills:
Technical knowledge in managing a self-hosted WordPress blog, including databases, tagging, categories, Yoast, etc.
Proficiency in social listening tools like Lithium, Radian6, Buzzlogic, or Sysomos
Experience writing for travel or expat blogs
Experience working as a part of larger social media teams for a corporate brand
An outgoing personality able to be camera or voiceover talent for corporate videos or podcasts
Knowledgeable with video production and distribution via YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
