One thing the internet teaches us all is that no matter how clued in you are, no matter how many times you’ve been Farked, Stumbled, or Plused, there’s always something out there you’ve never heard of that tens or hundreds of thousands of better-informed people have.
Nerdfighting is one of those things.
A place where nerds gather and play. We fight to increase awesome and decrease suck. What more is there? Here at Nerdfighters.com, there are actually quite a few ways to do both.
Let’s let a self-proclaimed nerdfighter explain it to us.

I was wondering where this rogue group came from (out of the apparent blue) to claim the top lending spot on Kiva.org. Apparently they’ve been a presence there for a while, but in mid-October their lending/membership stats shot up like Apple stock on iPhone announcement day. So thanks for the 411. They mean business and are definitely reducing world suck.
Hope the Harper ambush went off without suck, and that you did wear the Guy Fawkes mask. I’ll check the next post and see, I’m a little behind.

No worries. Alas I didn’t make it to OccupyHarper, as I was laid up ill. Apparently it went pretty well, but I”m kind of glad I missed it as a pot legalization activist (who also happens to be a major dealer) showed up and got them all chanting “End Prohibition.” Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t think that most people need to become even MORE boring, and I certainly don’t think this movement needs to get used to make the Emery family richer. Sigh. EYES ON THE PRIZE, PEOPLE, EYES ON THE PRIZE.
