Blogging for Writers Online Workshop starts May 18

Yes, we’re starting a new round of workshops mid-May online via Skype. As long as you’ve got a broadband connection and a headset with a mic, you can sign up for this, my favorite workshop to teach.

Blogging and Social Media for Writers is taught on Skype, starting 7pm-8:30pm Wednesday, May 18, lasts ten weeks, and costs $400 (unless you are an attendee of Northern Voice or Women and Words, the two conferences at which I’m speaking this month; attendees get $100 off this workshop, but only if they register by Tuesday, May 3rd).

Here’s the full description:

Blogging and Social Media for Writers: starts Wednesday, May 18 at 7pm. Ten weeks, 90 minutes per week, and YES there is homework: each week there’s a writing homework assignment and a social media homework assignment. Covers much of the same material as Social Media for Beginners, but with a focus on blogging and connecting with the publishing industry.

We’ll also cover many aspects of social media as they relate to promotion, community-building, and outreach for writers.
