When I was in the hospital recently (and for those of you coming to this soap opera late, I spent five months in and out of the hospital, a tale chronicled elsewhere) I missed blogging, sure; any writer misses writing. I couldn’t even type straight because of the morphine. But the thing I missed the most (other than solid food) was teaching.
And this is a good example of why.
LinkedIn recommendations are all very well, but when someone takes the time to create a work of art as a tribute to your teaching, well, that is a whole ‘nother thing entirely.
Thank you, Michael. I’m honoured to have inspired you. This is what it’s all about.

I’m so glad you liked the card and I love that you posted it on your blog too.
I could spend hours poking around on FB, Twitter, YouTube, etc. on my own and not really learn how to used them to suit my needs. I really appreciate that you were able to listen to my specific goals and help show me how to used the many social media platforms to my advantage. I still have a lot of work to do but I know I’m on the right path.

You’ll be fine. You understand how to limit your engagement and get things done that will have the desired outcomes.
Thanks again for this, it’s awesome.
