Yes, I finally got the new class schedule up at the Workshops page and on our Google calendar; we’ve a raft of old favorites and some brand new classes coming up starting March 2nd, so check it out. Some are online, some are taught in Downtown Vancouver (only registered students get to learn the Secret Location!) and we have both day and evening workshops, so pick whichever is most convenient for you.
I’m teaching at WordCamp Victoria in, oh, nine hours or so, and since Victoria has always been so nice to me I thought I’d do something nice for it, and here it is: Starting when this post goes live, up till 7am (what the heck) noon Monday, January 24th (that’s this Monday, as in two days from now), anyone who registers for one of my courses and uses the tag #YYJWordCamp in the notes on their Paypal payment will get the 2009 price instead of the 2011 price. In most cases, that’s a savings of $50 per course, except for full-day courses, where it’s a savings of a full $100!
Guess I’d better spell out exactly what those prices are:
- for full-day in-person or 10-week online courses, the regular price is $400 and the special price is only $300!
- for four-hour workshops, the regular price is $200 and the discounted price is $150
- for two-hour workshops, the regular price is $100 and the discounted price is $75.
Victoria is so terribly romantic, can you blame me?
