This will be our last class until after my June vacay (during which I will undoubtably suffer extreme internet withdrawl) and, as always, class size is limited to 8 participants because it is very intense. The course is presented from 1-5pm at the coworking gallery at BOB, 163 East Pender Street on the ground floor, and you will need to either bring a laptop or arrange to rent one in advance from me (an additional $25).
Details:
Blogging for Beginners:
Start from scratch and learn to post text, video, audio, and images. Covers basic copyright and blog etiquette, intro to sidebar widgets, categories, custom headers and design, and what on Earth to put IN the blog. Also where to find technical help. By the end of the workshop you’ll have a fully-functioning WordPress.com blog with several blog posts already up, and you’ll know how to work all the buttons on the dashboard. We will also touch on some ways to grow your readership (more on that in the Pimp My Blog course!)
$150 pre-registered, and only eight spaces are available.
To register, please email bloggingclasses AT gmail DOT com in advance to make sure the class is not sold out. Please pre-pay via the secure Paypal button in the top right-hand corner of the blog when your registration is confirmed. Paypal will give you a receipt and I will email you one as well.
I will probably be increasing the price in the fall, since it’s been the same for a year and a half now.
