Got this the long way: Facebook via website and website via Twitter DM:
Tweetup at Chill Winston tonight at 6pm to support Union Gospel Mission’s Orange Day, April 2nd.
On April 2, over 3,000 people in need across Metro Vancouver will enjoy a delicious Easter Dinner at UGM, and every one will receive a fresh orange at the end of the meal. We call it Orange Day.
How can you get involved? Get out and have some fun in our beautiful city without spending money, then donate what you saved to help a Vancouverite in need at UGM!
The idea? Go out, have some free fun (in parks, at galleries, wherever) and then take the money you would have spent and donate it to the Union Gospel Mission for Orange Day. This tweetup will feature “analog tweets,” otherwise known as posterboard signs that we’ll create to support and encourage the UGM guests on Orange Day itself. There will be free appies and good company (I’ll be there!) and good times and good karma!
