now THIS is how you do a flashmob

now THIS is how you do a flashmob

Stole this off Facebook, where it was passed to me by my old friend Darryl Hopkins, one of the most talented artists I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (and meeting and working with Darryl are true pleasures, trust me, and not just because he’s good-looking).

The Deets:

On Saturday January 30th we are holding an FLASH MOB art show showcasing unique and awesome art of all kinds! Come down, meet the artists, view their pieces, and if you feel so inclined..BUY ONE! Join us for this unique exhibition of the visual art, music, and spoken word! All artists will be donating a percentage of any art sold to our chosen beneficiary, or to help the relief efforts in Haiti. (Canadian Red Cross)

Live Vocals will be provided by Tonye a.k.a The Living Society and Guests, and the spoken word display will feature the talented Lady A! To top it all off, soundtrack for this art-filled night will be produced by the talented Lauran Hill!

We are still calling for artists of all kinds to come and show their work! Here’s how it works…

You bring your art ( max. 3 pieces) to the venue with a price tag on it..

You stick around and shamelessly self promote yourself and your art..

If someone wants to buy your piece, SELL IT!!

Donate a portion of the proceeds to the chosen beneficiary of The Living Society’s upcoming benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues or to the relief effort in Haiti.

Take home whatever art you don’t sell at the end of the event!

If you want to sell your art, and help a GREAT cause please contact us at thelivingsociety AT gmail.com for more information!!!

We do have a few spots still open for those who haven’t yet signed up.

Okay visual artists, you know what to do!
