Come to the Downtown Eastside: we have cookies!
I’m the new night manager/space animator at the BOB coworking space, which means basically that if you’re a coworker, as long as I’m happy to stay working here you’re welcome to stay working here, which basically means you can stay working here until the dawn’s early light which is, really, no later than 10 or 11 in the morning at the latest, right? And since cultural creatives are all-hours kinds of people, this is a good thing, right?
The Deets:
Noon to six, Friday, December 18th
163 East Pender street, ground floor
Vangroover, BC
From the Facebook invitation: invite yourself!
Come check out the new coworking space at BOB; we have a vast, beautiful, handicapped-accessible space with gorgeous art, high ceilings (good for creativity, according to studies!), a kitchen, secure bike storage, and we’re handy to transit, coffee shops, and justly famous Chinatown restaurants.
Also: we have cookies!
Good eats, good company, good times. Come out and see the new space and ask about our special deal on rent if you sign up now! All are welcome: pass it on!

We’ll be accepting donations for the Food Bank if you’d like to drop one off.
See you there?

So excellent! :) Vancouver has needed a coworking space for a very long time!
This is a great opportunity for us to be together and share ideas!
Community! :)

Eep, first iteration of the post had “Hastings” instead of “Pender”. Hope people aren’t wandering around the Carnegie tomorrow, confused.

Great, so happy to see this emerge with BOB. Does anyone know why workspace went out of business? Cowork spaces seem like a great way to share resources, reduce expenses and gain synergies with creative minds. Wondering why Workspace didn’t work out? Does anyone know why?

No idea why workspace went down. And I was there when it happened, too. You can see my post here:
