Come join Megaphone for a Night of Joyful Voices. On Tuesday, December 15th, Megaphone is holding a fundraising concert at Cafe Deux Soleils (2096 Commercial Drive) from 8 p.m. to midnight.

The night will feature such great local acts as Fanshaw, Poema Flamenco and Vows (featuring members of Analog Bell Service) and will be hosted by comedian/activist/author extraordinaire Charles Demers.

The event is part of Megaphone’s Joyful Voices Fundraising Drive. This Holiday season Megaphone needs to raise $5,000 so we can keep working to empower homeless and low-income people and make sure the rest of the city hears what they have to say. We need your donation. One way to help is by coming to our Night of Joyful Voices.

Tickets are $10 at the door. There will also be chances to win great prizes (ski passes, books and magazines and a spa gift certificate). All funds raised will go towards supporting Megaphone’s homeless and low-income vendors.
