Got this in an email from SEARCHgrads, via the Alliance for Arts and Culture. Had to strip out all the formatting and put it back in. I’m sorry, but you are allowed NO MORE THAN FIVE fonts per email. It’s not just a good idea: it’s the LAW!
And here’s the video the Alliance produced to speak out against cuts to the arts:
a creative way to demonstrate against the cuts made to the arts in our province:
flashmob… theatre-style!
Check out these cool links of Improv Everywhere for inspiration: [ed note: I know, though perhaps the Alliance may not, that there is a branch of Improv Everywhere right here in Vangroover, although they use Ning for their site and I loathe Ning, so I never go there]
[ed note: actually neither of those videos relates in any way to what is planned, but they’re cool anyway]
We have scouted a top-secret public location. More information will come on a need to know basis.
Join us SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21st at 12pm.
The event itself will take 10 minutes of your time.
Invite your most trusted accomplices.

My take on Improv Everywhere is that they’re mostly harmless, but they may have been misused in the past to conduct psychological warfare or harassment campaigns.

You’re a loonbat, actually, but I’m very fond of loonbats. Improv Everywhere isn’t the malevolent arm of a mind-control organization. Bad news for your book deal prospects, but there it is.
