Here’s a cute introduction to Facebook manners. Hmmm, I’ve broken one of these rules; can you guess which? At least they don’t have anything against trawling other people’s events to see what you’d like to attend!

My guess is you’ve broken rule #4, and stolen other people’s friends.

You are correct. I never, however, try to take those friends away from people. I just trawl through the lists of people looking for other people I know. If this is wrong, I DON’T WANT TO BE RIGHT!!!
