This is a classic of the internets. In cyberyears it’s about coeval with the earliest life forms, and all online life as we know it has descended from that root.
This explains a great deal.
The Perfect Artistic Website is indeed a perfect artistic website, but it’s even better as a sort of etch-a-sketch for your mind, turning it upside down and giving it a good shake to clear it. It’s also a great a reminder to keep things in perspective. Online drama can drive you crazy, not to mention the simple technical issues that are so frustrating. The next time blogging has you shouting at your monitor or calling your mother in tears, give this a click, and a laugh or two.

This is a GREAT post. And how I feel half the time. And I shall heed your sage advice:
“a sort of etch-a-sketch for your mind, turning it upside down and giving it a good shake to clear it. It’s also a great a reminder to keep things in perspective”
The etch-a-sketch for your mind. Today I need a good shake to clear. 8) Love your site.

Glad you like it; I blogrolled you under Creativity, btw.
There are some murky depths (or shallows, depending) out there in the internet, and we do occasionally need something to put it all in perspective.

Hey, thanks for the link! I like this site, too. I just emailed QM to ask if she noticed that you had a link on yesterday’s post to Katagari Roshi and beginner’s mind. Good state to be in for writing.

I have the book Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind, and nothing could pry it from my fingers. It’s a treasure.
