God knows, I haven’t always gotten along with these guys, but finally after many years of phone/email/in-person tag we got together thanks to the ever-vigilant and helpful Tim Adkins. Their mission is to teach low-income people how to repair computers, and they also sell computers and parts and do repairs for the public. When I got Dave, my current computer, Tim installed Ubuntu on it for me, helping me get around the fact it was a Windows machine that was password-protected and the only person who knew the password was dead.
And on that happy note, here’s the job listing. Note that it’s for students ONLY. And may I just say how much I HATE reformatting things from e-newsletters?
