Glad you like the pic. I just applied at Digital Divide and we'll see what they say. Today it's been stunning, beams of sunlight and light showers and rainbows, but I can't really see them from my desk and have to check on the CBC to see what the weather's like right outside my office. I might as well be in a cubicle farm, for god's sake. Not to mention you can hardly haul a desktop machine around and use it for presentations.

That really is a great photo and works perfectly in the header.

Yes, get a laptop if you can. I just got one and it is fabulous. Today I saw someone sitting outside on a patio with hers and I thought ... hmmm...

Thanks: I got the image from a German photographer on Wordpress; he hasn't updated since October, though, so I don't know if he'll see my message for him.

Yes, I hate the rain. I only live here for the rainbows, actually. Now I've got to pump some caffeine into my system and get out for my second run on the Sun Run program: wish me luck.

Also: looks like the course idea is progressing nicely. Got a lead on a laptop that could be, seriously, life-changing. Chaining myself to the desk means locking myself in my apartment when I could just as well be sitting on a patio chatting with people.

I love the sun. I come alive when it shines and I ache like a B@#$% when it rains.
