I’ve actually been consciously attempting to develop the capacity for worry, so maybe I overcompensated. I’m so proud of my ability to cope with any emergency that I devote too little effort to preventing those emergencies in the first place.

It’s not that your life is magically easy. You just don’t dwell on worse case scenarios.
You figure that you’ll be able to handle whatever life throws at you.
